Air not turning on

Postby jowens2277 » Tue Jul 12, 2016 2:28 pm

This morning my wife woke me up and told me the thermostat was blank. I put new batteries in it and it cut on. I though this was strange because there were no flashing lights or message stating low battery. After doing this the ac nor the fan have cut on. I checked the voltage in the thermostat and the voltage at the blower motor, both which have come back to zero. I have tripped all breaker inside, at air handler and pulled the disconnect and put it back in. Still nothing. I cleaned out the drain line, still nothing. Any idea of what may be causing this? The thermostat is a Honeywell and the central a/c is a Lennox.

Model of the Honeywell thermostat. Is this a heat pump or AC only condenser? Have you had any big lightning storms?

If you call for AC at the thermostat, what does the display show?
