I am having leak in ceiling which is right under my bathroom. My plumber in Toronto ( DoctorRooter) told me that the leak occurred because of my thermostat. He said that the temperature variation lead to high pressure inside the pipes which resulted in the leak. Is this common? Has anyone had an issue like this before? I would like to know how does the thermostat temperature affect the pressure inside my pipes.
